I started using this supplement because I have a long history of digestive issues. I was treated for an ulcer 20 years ago after a postive H-Pylori test, and DGL chews helped me through that period. I still occasionally have issues with heartburn and discomfort, so I thought I'd try DGL again. It's been a couple of weeks, and I do feel some positive changes in my occasional heartburn. Acidic foods, especially my beloved morning coffee and chocolate, don't seem to effect me quite as much. It’s a subtle change, but I feel a little more at ease after eating now. Similar to my past experiences, I haven’t had any weird side effects or any adverse reactions. Gut health takes time to improve, so these slow positive changes are a very good sign.

I take my supplements with my lunch to avoid late night tummy upset, but I take this chewable before my dinner and the chocolate chewables are a fun yummy treat. The flavor isn't overly sweet or intensely chocolately, it's more of a light chocolate/licorice combo. It’s not your standard sweet chocolate like a tootsie roll, but I didn’t mind it. The smell is quite interesting, very natural with a hint of cocoa.

The chewables are not chalky, which I really like. I think the price point is fair for this high quality chewable. I recommend!

 requested this product to support my digestive system. One notable difference is that instead of being in a capsule form, it is a chewable tablet. For those of you who can't swallow pills or don't like swalliwing pills these are a valuable option. The taste is chocolate and something else, perhaps licorice. They are pleasant to take.

I believe they do help my digestion as long as I take them. My digestion was smooth, regular, and pain-free. They are targeted to support the mucosal lining in the digestive tract. This is important because if tiny bits and pieces of food break out and get through the protective barrier designed to keep them inside the digestive tract, the body starts attacking them as unwanted invaders. So inflammation and even a bit of an allergic response or rashes could be happening. You can research the term leaky gut for more info. The idea is to lessen or stop this.

I recommend trying these and deciding for yourself. If you see an improvement, then you know this is something helpful to you.

I have some gut issues so I often make a tea with the ingredients in this supplement, but, sometimes I'm too lazy to do it, or just don't want a tea. I love that this is a chewable that I can just pop before meals.

The taste is chocolate, but it's not so heavy that it would interfere with your taste buds before a meal. I can keep these on my kitchen table, and just take when before I start eating my meal. Easy, peasy!
